John J-H Kim, founder and CEO of DMGroup, will present with Superintendent Mark Sullivan on accelerating 3rd-grade literacy achievement at Birmingham City Schools (AL) at the NABSE Conference in Atlanta (GA) on November 21st! Following the implementation of DMGroup’s 10-week Breakthrough Results (BTR) program across 28 elementary schools in spring 2024, 81% of BCS’ 3rd graders met the state ELA requirements compared to only 53% the year before.

DMInstitutes are different from other professional development programs. Our approach is a unique combination of lectures, workshops, and coaching delivered over a period of months while participants tackle a real, live challenge from their district.
